A short activity to help students use can, may, and must in relevant situations.
Materials[]
- Worksheet with sets of rules for the students to read and guess (example below)
Procedure[]
- Read the sets of rules with the students, pointing out the correct grammar structure.
- Have students guess what place/sport/etc each set of rules is related to.
- Have students write out the rules for a place/sport/etc. that they choose.
- Optional: have the students play in pairs to guess the place/sport/etc. for the rules they each wrote
